Rerank settings policies (Public Preview)

Windows 365 now supports reranking settings policies. Administrators can prioritize settings policies to determine which policy takes precedence when conflicting settings are configured. Policies can be reordered by changing their rank, using drag-and-drop controls, or moving policies up and down the list. Learn more in Settings overview.

RDP Multipath with redundant TCP transport paths is now generally available

RDP Multipath with redundant TCP transport paths is now generally available for Windows 365 Cloud PC. This enhancement extends the resiliency benefits of RDP Multipath to TCP-based connections, enabling Windows 365 Cloud PC to maintain multiple standby TCP transport paths and automatically switch between them when network degradation is detected.

• Improved session resiliency across restrictive network environments
• Automatic failover between available transport paths
• Reduced session interruptions and disconnects
• No additional configuration required when prerequisites are met

More flexible device naming templates for Windows 365 Flex shared mode

Admins can now create more flexible device naming templates for Windows 365 Flex Cloud PCs in shared mode. Device names can be between 5 and 15 characters and include a prefix of up to 10 characters, with support for hyphens and a required random alphanumeric suffix of at least 5 characters. This update aligns naming capabilities across Windows 365 Enterprise and Windows 365 Flex, helping organizations apply naming conventions that match their business and operational requirements.

Customer-managed encryption for Windows 365 Reserve (Public Preview)

Windows 365 Reserve now supports Microsoft Purview Customer Key (CMK), enabling administrators to encrypt Reserve Cloud PC disks with customer-managed keys stored in Azure Key Vault. This capability helps organizations meet security and compliance requirements by providing greater control over encryption key management, including key rotation, revocation, and auditing. Support for Customer Key in Reserve extends the existing CMK experience available for Windows 365 Cloud PCs. For more information, see Microsoft Purview Customer Key setup and support for W365.
