Snapshot-based reset for Windows 365 Flex shared Cloud PCs (Public Preview)

Snapshot-based reset is in public preview for Windows 365 Flex shared Cloud PCs. When a user signs out, the Cloud PC reverts to a known-good snapshot before the next user signs in. No files, settings, or app changes from the previous session carry over.

Use snapshot-based reset to:

• Give each user a clean Cloud PC at sign-in.
• Keep user data isolated between sessions on a shared Cloud PC.
• Avoid configuration drift on shared Cloud PCs over time.
