Additional client support for external identities

Intelligent pre‑start for Windows 365 Flex (Dedicated mode) is now generally available

This capability uses predictive insights to determine when a user is likely to connect and proactively starts their Cloud PC in advance, so it’s ready when they sign in. By reducing the time required for the Cloud PC to boot, Intelligent pre‑start helps minimize connection delays and improves the overall login experience for Windows 365 Flex users.

This enhancement is designed to support task‑based and time‑bound work patterns, enabling faster access to Cloud PCs without requiring any changes to user or admin workflows.

Additional regions for Windows 365 Flex (shared)

Windows 365 Flex in Shared mode is now available in the following regions:

• Brazil – Brazil South
• Italy (EU) – Italy North
• Netherlands (EU) – West Europe

These regions are now selectable in Windows 365 Flex (shared) provisioning policies in Microsoft Intune.

Azure Network Connections now show available IP capacity

Administrators can now view available IP capacity for each Azure network connection (ANC) directly in the Azure network connections experience in the Microsoft Intune admin center. This visibility helps you plan subnet capacity before provisioning and scaling Cloud PCs, and it can help identify capacity constraints that may affect provisioning success. The value surfaces as an IP availability count and is intended for troubleshooting and planning without exposing individual IP addresses.
