Expanded Microsoft Teams media optimizations now available

Microsoft Teams optimizations in Windows 365 are available when accessing Cloud PCs from Windows App on iOS and Android (GA for WebRTC) and macOS (preview for Slimcore) platforms. Teams provides optimized calling and meeting experiences on Cloud PCs, with ongoing improvements delivered through the Windows App and the new Teams architecture. Windows 365 support for Germany West Central and Switzerland North

Windows 365 Flex in Shared mode is now available in Germany West Central and Switzerland North. This regional expansion helps organizations provision Cloud PCs closer to users, supporting lower latency and local data residency requirements for shift‑based and shared access scenarios. Windows 365 Flex shared provisioning policies update

Windows 365 Flex (Shared mode) provisioning policies now support up to 5,000 Cloud PCs per policy. This update allows organizations to scale Windows 365 Flex deployments more efficiently and reduces the need to manage multiple provisioning policies as Windows 365 Flex workforces grow.

Captive portal support for Windows 365 Boot

Windows 365 Boot now supports captive portals, allowing users to connect to Wi‑Fi networks that require web‑based sign‑in, such as accepting terms or completing one‑time password authentication. Network registration opens in the default browser, with clearer connectivity status shown in Quick Settings and Action Center. This update applies to Windows 365 Boot devices only.
