Device management

Storage access tier selection when placing Cloud PC under review

To help lower your storage costs, hot, cool, cold and archive tiers can now be selected when placing a Cloud PC under review. To help with compliance it is now also possible to place a Cloud PC under review onto hot, cool and cold access tiers configured with immutability support.

New Device Type filter on All Cloud PCs page

The new Device Type filter on the All Cloud PCs page lets you filter the results by the type of Cloud PC (Enterprise, Frontline, Dev Box, Power Automate).

Provisioning

Windows 365 support for Japan West

Windows 365 Enterprise will support the Japan West region in the Japan geography. For more information, see Supported Azure regions for Cloud PC provisioning.

Schedule bulk reprovisioning for Windows 365 Frontline Cloud PCs in Shared mode

You can now schedule bulk reprovisioning for Windows 365 Frontline Cloud PCs in Shared mode. For more information, see Bulk reprovision Windows 365 Frontline Cloud PCs in Shared mode.

Windows 365 Frontline

More precise Windows 365 Frontline concurrency control

You can now allocate concurrent sessions for Windows 365 Frontline Cloud PCs in Dedicated mode for each Microsoft Entra group assigned in the provisioning policy. This lets you reserve sessions to specific groups so sessions won't be consumed by other groups, and help you control your maximum concurrency limits.
