Device security

Screen capture protection in Windows 365 settings catalog

You can now implement screen capture protection for your Cloud PCs by using the settings catalog. Alongside watermarking, screen capture is a deterrent to data leaks and data loss. For more information, see Enable screen capture protection in Azure Virtual Desktop and Configure the administrative template.

This feature isn’t supported on Android, iOS, or web clients. Enabling this feature blocks users from accessing their Cloud PCs when using these clients.

Watermarking support in Windows 365 settings catalog

You can now implement watermarking for your Cloud PCs by using the settings catalog. Alongside screen capture, watermarking is a deterrent to data leaks and data loss. For more information, see Watermarking in Azure Virtual Desktop and Configure the administrative template.

Customer Lockbox support (preview)

Windows 365 Enterprise and Frontline now support Microsoft Purview Customer Lockbox.

Provisioning

Single sign-on is now generally available

The following single sign-on updates have moved out of preview and are now generally available:

  • Single sign-on for Microsoft Entra joined and Microsoft Entra hybrid joined Cloud PCs.
  • You can turn on single sign-on separately for each provisioning policy to apply it to new Cloud PCs.
  • You can apply single sign-on to existing Cloud PCs.
  • A new Azure Network Connection check for Microsoft Entra hybrid joined provisioning policies to make sure that the domain is properly configured for single sign-on.

These updates are also available for Windows 365 Frontline.

New GPU offerings for Cloud PCs (preview)

Three new GPU offerings are now available for Window 365 Enterprise Cloud PCs. For more information, see GPU Cloud PCs.

End user experience

Windows App now available in public preview

Windows App lets users securely connect to Windows devices and apps. Supported remote devices include:

  • Azure Virtual Desktop
  • Windows 365 Cloud PC
  • Microsoft Dev Box
  • Remote Desktop Services
  • Remote PC

Windows App is available for Windows, macOS, iOS and iPadOS, and web browsers.
