Device management

The resize action is now generally available

The resize action has moved out of preview and into general availability. This feature is also available for both Windows 365 Government and Windows 365 Government customers using Windows 365 Enterprise. The resize action isn't currently available for Windows 365 Frontline. For more information, see Resize a Cloud PC.

Windows 365 Boot is now generally available

Windows 365 Boot has moved out of preview and into general availability. For more information, see What is Windows 365 Boot? This feature isn't currently available for Windows 365 Government.

Monitor and troubleshoot

New filter options in the Cloud PC utilization report

Two new filter options are now available for the Cloud PC utilization report:

  • Date last connected filter option: No connection within the last 60 days
  • Time connected filter option: None (0 hours)

New report: Cloud PCs that can't connect

A new report is now available that provides metrics that help admins evaluate tenant level device connection status and reliability. For example, you can observe:

  • devices that have unhealthy hosts.
  • users' connections that consistently or frequently fail.
  • systemic issues, like an Azure infrastructure issue, that is impacting the ability of a user to connect.

Improvements to Cloud PC connection quality report

Improvements to the Cloud PC connection quality report include:

  • A more comprehensive view of the overall performance of their Cloud PCs.
  • A more detailed view of devices when they are in a state of poor performance due to high round trip times.
  • Tenant level visibility to most recent/current for:
    • Round Trip Time.
    • Bandwidth.
    • Connection Time.
    • UDP Utilization.
  • Connection specific detail on client IP and associated CPC Gateway.
  • Filters for all columns.

Provisioning

Single sign-on updates

The following updates related to single sign-on are now available:

  • Public preview features.
    • Single sign-on for Microsoft Entra hybrid join Cloud PCs.
    • You can turn on single sign-on separately for each provisioning policy.
    • A new Azure Network Connection check to make sure that the network is properly configured for single sign-on.
    • Apply single sign-on to existing Microsoft Entra joined and Microsoft Entra hybrid joined Cloud PCs.

End user experience

Windows 365 Switch is now generally available

Windows 365 Switch has moved out of preview and into general availability. For more information, see Windows 365 Switch. This feature isn't currently available for Windows 365 Government.
