Retirement of Viva Suite with Glint SKU– Effective September 1, 2025

With the full integration of the Viva Glint service plan into the Microsoft Viva Suite, the Viva Suite with Glint SKU will be retired effective September 1, 2025. This change will help streamline the Viva offering and ensure customers are using the most up-to-date and supported SKUs.

When this will happen

The Viva Suite with Glint SKU (part number: ICW-00001/ ICW-0002/), Viva Suite with Glint EDU (part number ILZ-0001), and MCA Viva Suite with Glint (part number: IM2-00001) will no longer be available for purchase or renewal starting September 1, 2025.

How this affects your organization

As of July 2023, Glint is fully integrated into the Viva Suite. Customers who purchase the Viva Suite automatically receive Glint capabilities without needing a the Viva suite with Glint SKU.

• Organizations currently using the Viva Suite with Glint SKU can continue using it until the end of their current agreement.
• At renewal, licenses must be reassigned when moving to the Viva Suite plan (part number: IM3-00007 or IM3-00014) or Viva Suite EDU (part number: IM4-00003), as automatic SKU migration is not available. After this update, users in your tenant with a Viva Suite license will have access to Viva Glint. Provided that the number of active users in Glint is equal to or less than the number of licenses purchased, users can create, administer, and respond to surveys without individual license assignments.
