Your datacenter region move for Teams data is now complete. The default region has now changed and all new Teams chat messages, including private messages, channel messages, and images used in chats will be stored at rest in the new default region.

[How this affects your organization:]

Administrators can confirm the data location at any time in the Microsoft 365 admin center. To access start in the navigation pane on the left, expand "Settings", and then click "Org Settings". Select the tab "Organization profile", then select the option "Data location".
