[Introduction]

Do you want to migrate your Fabric tenant home region out of North Europe?

For your tenant, we are offering Assisted Tenant Migration (ATM) to move your tenant out of North Europe to a Fabric supported Azure region of your choice (except for West Europe). You can read more about the process here:

ATM Guidance

Three main points to consider:

  1. You need to delete all your Fabric artifacts before migration (data loss)
  2. You need to delete all your capacities before migration (no data loss)
  3. There will be a few hours downtime during the actual migration

If you are interested in moving, please reach out to [email protected]. We will confirm your tenant is a suitable candidate for ATM, and will work with you to schedule your move.

Q: "Why would I want to move?"
A: Data residency, to be closer to where your other Azure services live, to reduce latency or egress costs.

[When this will happen:]

Global: We will begin rolling out on early July 2026 and expect to complete by late December 2026.
