Microsoft Dataverse - Run Prompt Columns on existing records in bulk

We are announcing the ability to run prompt columns on existing records in bulk in Microsoft Dataverse. This feature will reach public preview on August 10, 2026.

How does this affect me?
This feature enables users to:

• Generate data and summarize it into information.
• Prioritize responses based on urgency (sentiment).
• Categorize responses (classify).
• Extract pertinent info (email addresses, phone numbers, etc.)
• Generate replies by using Microsoft Dataverse generative AI prompts.
• Define and extend this enriched information as part of the record and query it.
