(Updated) Queues data now available in Teams Premium Usage Report in TAC
Microsoft announcement
Updated August 24, 2026: We have updated the timeline. Thank you for your patience.
[What and Why:]
We are enhancing the Teams Premium usage report in the Microsoft Teams admin center (TAC) to include usage data for the Queues app. The Queues app is a Teams Premium capability designed to help users manage call queue workflows more efficiently.
With this update, tenant administrators will be able to view active Queues app usage within the existing Teams Premium usage report, providing greater visibility into Teams Premium feature adoption and utilization across their organization.
[Rollout Schedule:]
- Worldwide: Rollout will begin in early September (previously late August) and is expected to complete by late September 2026 (previously mid-September).
[Impact on Your Organization:]
This change affects tenant administrators who use the Teams Premium usage report in the Microsoft Teams admin center.
After this rollout:
- The Teams Premium usage report will include usage metrics for the Queues app.
- Administrators will be able to view the number of active users of the Queues app.
- Active Queues users will appear as part of the existing Teams Premium reporting experience.
- This change is limited to reporting and analytics and does not modify user experiences, licensing requirements, or administrative settings.
[Action Required / Recommendations:]
No action is required to prepare for this change.
Organizations that use Teams Premium reporting may want to review the updated report after rollout and update any internal adoption or reporting processes as needed.
