Dynamics 365 Finance – Use managed extensibility of data models
Microsoft announcement
We are announcing the ability to use managed extensibility of data models in Business performance analytics in Dynamics 365 Finance. This feature will reach general availability on September 30, 2026.
How does this affect me?
This feature provides greater flexibility to create reports and analytics tailored to your needs, while incorporating additional data sources into your environment. When you enable this feature within Business performance analytics and a customer's Microsoft Fabric license, it extends the Business performance analytics data model for Dynamics 365 finance and operations to conform to additional data sources in Fabric.
What action do I need to take?
This message is for awareness, and no action is required.
