Microsoft Purview | eDiscovery: In-product diagnostics to troubleshoot common challenges

Microsoft Purview eDiscovery is introducing three read-only diagnostic checks for case access, security filters, and hold-policy distribution. These checks help admins understand and troubleshoot common access, search-scoping, and hold-distribution issues directly in the product.

Public Preview (Worldwide): We will begin rolling out in late October 2026 and expect to complete by mid November 2026.

General Availability (Worldwide): We will begin rolling out in early December 2026 and expect to complete by mid December 2026.

General Availability (GCC): We will begin rolling out in early December 2026 and expect to complete by mid January 2027.

General Availability (GCC High): We will begin rolling out in early December 2026 and expect to complete by early February 2027.

General Availability (DoD): We will begin rolling out in early December 2026 and expect to complete by late February 2027.
