Vulnerability assessment for Microsoft Store applications
Microsoft Defender Vulnerability Management now detects supported applications installed through the Microsoft Store, adds them to the software inventory, and assesses them for vulnerabilities.

Investigate vulnerable applications
On the software page, open the Software evidence area to view the file path for the vulnerable application. A suggested query shows the vulnerable application, its version, and its file location.
Coverage limitation: Assessment currently covers a select set of commonly used Microsoft Store applications, not every application available in the Store.
