Microsoft announcement
We are introducing a new Include all apps toggle in the Intune Company Portal apps page for Windows and the Company Portal website.
With this change, Company Portal shows a smaller set of apps by default. Users can turn on Include all apps to view the full catalog. Search continues to return all apps available to the user.
[When this will happen:]
- Rollout timing: September 24, 2026
- Company Portal requirement: Windows Company Portal app version 11.2.2037.0
[How this will affect your organization:]
The Include all apps toggle is off by default. When it is off, Company Portal shows a curated set of featured and recommended applications instead of the full catalog.
Users can still:
- Find any available application through search.
- Access installed applications through Downloads and updates.
- Turn on Include all apps to browse the complete catalog.
In the Windows Company Portal app, the toggle resets when the session ends. On the Company Portal website, the toggle will reset once the browser tab is closed.
[What you need to do to prepare:]
Review any user documentation that explains how to find and install applications in Company Portal.
Users who do not see the Include all apps toggle in the Windows Company Portal app should:
- Update Company Portal to version 11.2.2037.0 or later from the Microsoft Store.
- Use search to find applications directly.
- Use the Company Portal website, which already supports this functionality.
No administrative action is required to enable this change.
