[What and why]
Customers can access two new capabilities in the Agent 365 Dashboard in Microsoft Viva Insights Copilot Analytics: a comprehensive registry of agents across their organization, as well as activity data for agents with identities. This update also incorporates handling of soft-deleted agents and agents published by both an organization and its users, helping ensure consistent reporting. These enhancements help business leaders and change and adoption specialists better understand their agent landscape, assess usage, and identify opportunities to increase adoption.
[Rollout schedule]
- General Availability (Worldwide): Beginning in mid-October 2026 and expected to complete in late October 2026
[Impact on your organization]
Who is affected
Users who have access to the Agent 365 Dashboard through Microsoft Viva Insights VFAM controls, as well as business leaders and change and adoption specialists who use Copilot Analytics reporting
Platforms and services
Microsoft Viva Insights, Microsoft 365 Copilot Analytics, and the Agent 365 Dashboard
What will happen
A new Registry tab will be available in the Agent 365 Dashboard. The Registry tab will provide a comprehensive list of agents across the organization. Users will be able to view the number of agents that have activity, agents without owners, creator names for user-created agents, platform information, and agent creation dates.
The Adoption tab metrics will include activity reporting for agents with identities. Users will be able to view associated agent instances and detailed drill-down reporting for each instance.
No new dashboard-specific access control is introduced as part of this update.

[Action required and recommendations]
We recommend that administrators review the new Registry tab and the reporting experience for agents with identities, verify who has access to the Agent 365 Dashboard by reviewing Microsoft Viva Insights VFAM controls at the user, group, and tenant levels, and review existing access to the Agent 365 Dashboard. Administrators should also engage their works council or employee representatives if applicable and update internal training and enablement materials to explain Agent assisted hours and inferred task insights.
